Our Story

How we got here

CEO and Co-founder Melissa Wong started Zipline because she couldn’t find a technology solution that solved her communication problem at one of North America’s largest retailers. She was focused on getting stores to execute to brand standards but it was a struggle. Email, portal sites and old technologies were slow, archaic and hard to use. They didn’t align field leaders or engage Associates in an effective way.

After hundreds of conversations with store managers, district leaders, HQ employees, and peers across the industry, she realized that the breakdown in store execution was the result of ineffective communication - and it was holding the brand back from achieving its goals. So, she partnered with technical Co-founder, Jeremy Baker to build Zipline.

Today, Zipline is used, and loved, by close to 80 best-in-class brands around the world to bring brand strategies to life in stores and keep today on track.
